Supatra Johnson, Chef/owner of Supatra's Thai Cuisine, has been teaching Thai cooking classes in the Twin Cities for over 10 years! She began offering cooking classes at Jasmine Market, an Asian grocery store in Burnsville that she previously owned. She got the idea for teaching Thai cooking classes after many customers asked for information on how to cook with the ingredients she offered in the store. The classes proved to be very popular and following the sale of the store, she began teaching Thai cooking for Community Education at over 18 different school districts around the Twin Cities metro area! In addition, she has taught classes at Kitchen Window in Minneapolis, Kitchen Sync in Waconia and Kitchen Party in Blaine. Since opening Supatra's, she has been offering Thai cooking classes at the restaurant!
